Why we rebuilt fiveq.com on our own platform
The cobbler's kids get new shoes: this site now runs on the Ministry Impact Platform. Here's what changed.
Practicing what we deploy
There's an old joke about the cobbler's children going barefoot, and for a while it applied to us: we were building fast, modern sites for ministries on the Ministry Impact Platform while fiveq.com ran on older bones.
The rebuild you're reading right now serves every page from Cloudflare's edge, renders sections from a visual builder our whole team can edit, and publishes changes in seconds. No deploy queue, no 'ask the developer,' no cache mysteries.
We did it partly for the speed scores — but mostly because we ask ministries to trust this platform with their digital front door, and we think that trust should be demonstrated, not just described. Kick the tires: view source, run the PageSpeed test, click around. This is the product.
